Staff Childcare Ratio
The Child Care (Pre-School Services) Regulations 2006 outline the minimum staff to child ratios that must be adhered to in crèche settings. As we operate a Community Services Programme funded by the Department of Community, Rural and Gaeltacht Affairs we employ a large number of staff above and beyond the recommended guidelines. Therefore, we can provide a better than average staff to child ratio than most crèches. This allows us to give children with additional needs the time and attention that they require, and also affords all children a better level of care.
